The high-quality oils we use are always carefully cold-pressed.

Cold-pressed oils are healthier than refined oils primarily because the production is significantly gentler than the production of refined oils. The result is that cold-pressed oils contain more vitamins and more flavors and, primarily, more essential fatty acids than refined oils. Mainly the essential fatty acids are very healthy and are considered good fats.



Carrots have low calorie content but are rich in vitamins (A, B1, B2, B3, B6, B9, B11, C, E), minerals (potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron) and fiber. Particularly valuable are the carotenoids contained in carrots. They are converted to vitamin A in our body and have a large number of healthy characteristics and are anti-oxidative. Studies on their effect against various forms of cancer are conducted increasingly. The contained fiber pectin moreover stimulates digestion, regulates the blood sugar and delays the feeling of hunger.


Poppy seed

Poppy seed makes you fit. Poppy seed shows a particularly favorable composition of fatty acids and scores with its high content of iron, calcium, potassium, magnesium and phosphorus. Poppy seed moreover is a great protein supplier and has a high content of the amino acids leucine and lysine. They are elements which contribute to health and can strengthen the heart, the brain and the muscles. Moreover, poppy seed has a positive effect on high blood pressure.


Linseed oil

No other vegetable oil supplies more omega- 3 fatty acids than linseed oil. It keeps the arteries elastic, prevents arteriosclerosis, reduces LDL cholesterol and thus protects against a heart attack or a stroke. Linseed oil also has a preventive and relieving effect in case of arthrosis. In the past few years, the cell-strengthening and cancer-inhibiting characteristics of the so-called lignans have been increasingly in the focus of medical research.



Turmeric is said to be a miracle cure because curcuminoids have many pharmacological characteristics: they are anti-oxidative, anti-mutagenic, anti-carcinogenic, immune-stimulating, anti-inflammatory and cholesterol-lowering. The regular intake of turmeric is also said to be the reason for the low share of breast, stomach, skin and colon cancer in India. In a study, the AKH in Vienna found out that turmeric can delay and even prevent the formation of colon cancer. Turmeric is even said to have a positive effect against dementia. Turmeric stimulates bile formation as well as the digestion of fats. Its bitter substances lead to a faster feeling of fullness and suppress cravings for sweets.


Acerola cherry

With around 1,700 mg of vitamin C per 100 g, the acerola cherry is considered the absolute vitamin supplying star of all fruits (35 times higher vitamin C share compared with oranges and lemons!). In addition, the acerola cherry also provides a high share of other bioactive elements such as provitamin A, vitamins B1, B2, B5, niacin, protein, magnesium, phosphorus and calcium. Altogether, they provide exceptionally efficient cell protection and increase the anti-oxidative effect of the vitamin C.


Button mushrooms

Button mushrooms are rich in minerals, B vitamins and protein. They also contain provitamin D which is converted into vitamin D in our body and important for the storage of calcium and phosphorus (healthy bones, protection against osteoporosis). The content of copper is remarkable as well. Button mushrooms thus have a regular place in conscious nutrition for a reason: They are exceptionally low in calories, almost free of fat and have a minimum carbohydrate share. Their agent tyrosinase moreover reduces the blood pressure.



In addition to its unique and intense aroma, vanilla is considered an aphrodisiac as well as an anti-stress and happiness spice. Numerous studies proved that the elements contained in vanilla are good for the soul. The scent of vanilla alone can evidently ease stress, unrest, fears, depressive moods, sleep disturbances and the feeling of hunger. The reason is that vanilla stimulates the production of the happiness hormone serotonin. In naturopathy, vanilla is also considered effective against indigestion and reportedly has fungicidal, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory characteristics.


Wheat germs

Wheat germs are rich in protein, minerals, vitamins and fiber as well as rich in unsaturated fatty acids. The high content of protein contributes to both the increase and maintenance of muscles. Unsaturated fatty acids play an important role in fat metabolism and regulate the cholesterol level. The B vitamins – mainly the vitamins B1, B2, B6, B12 – as well as niacin support the energy metabolism and the nervous system. Vitamin E as well as the trace elements zinc, manganese, copper and selenium contribute to the protection of cells against oxidative stress. Iron and zinc moreover strengthen the immune system.


Rice syrup

Rice syrup is a healthy alternative to sucrose. It has a high content of long-chain multiple sugar which the body has to convert into single sugar before they go into the blood. The sugar intake in the blood is thus delayed and the fast increase in the blood sugar level is prevented. Since rice syrup does not contain fructose and maltose is not converted into fructose in our body, it is also suitable for people with fructose intolerance or malabsorption.


Barley malt

Malt extracts are light to dark brown, pleasantly malty-tasting syrups produced from barley malt. They contain simple and complex carbohydrates as well as numerous essential amino acids, minerals, vitamins (mainly B vitamins) and trace elements. Carbohydrates are the most important source of energy for the human brain. The body needs sugar because the glucose converted from carbohydrates in the liver is its most important energy supplier. Without permanent glucose supply humans would be nonviable.
